This piece was initially conceived as an experimental narrative film exploring Colonial-era re-enactment through the experiences of two characters who find their role-playing options limited by the color of
their skin. Equal parts research project, devised theater experiment, and public history exploration, the script dramatized what happens when a re-enactor’s chosen character cannot be validated by the
historical record. Temporarily shelved to make way for other projects, it's going back under the knife
in summer 2016!
